JOB DETAILS:
In September 2012 Isaac Newton Academy opened
with its inaugural cohort of 180 year 7 students. The secondary school will
developed, year on year, to become an 11-18 academy of 1250 students. The sixth
form opened in September 2017. In 2014 the primary phase opened, welcoming
90 reception-aged students.This also will grow every year until full in 2020.
We are searching to appoint an motivational Head
of MFL, or a strong Head of French, with the spirit to progress (TLR dependant
on experience), who shares our faith in the best standards of academic
attainment in a comprehensive setting.
Outstanding Head of MFL required, for January
2020 (an Easter start would be considered for the right
candidate) to lead an outstanding department in an outstanding new
school. Six form entry, mixed 4-18 comprehensive in Redbridge.
This is a rare opportunity to lead an brilliant
team of specialist French and Spanish teachers and to be centrally engaged in
developing our sixth form and primary provision.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to expand on

Academy and join the ARK Schools network, with comprehensive CPD provision.
