JOB DETAILS:

A famous and academically strong primary school in Westcombe in Greenwich are looking for an enthusiastic and passionate teaching assistant to join them in September 2019. Ideally the graduate teaching assistant will have previously worked with children either in a similar setting or in a tutoring capacity. This is a long-term contract beginning in the new academic year in September 2019.The successful teaching assistant will be working in KS1 and KS2.

The teaching assistant will be working full-time Monday to Friday and will not be expected to work during school holidays.  This is a relatively large school start 2 form entry. 

Education to a degree level would be ideal for this position (2:2 or above). 

The school are offering a competitive daily rate for the successful teaching assistant.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Supporting the children in Key Stage 1 and 2 with Maths, English as well as the other subjects.
• Focus on supporting children in their SATS preparation.
• Primary school are looking for someone who is personable, works well with children, is reliable and dedicated.
• Strong education background with a minimum of a C required at GCSE in Math and English.
• Excellent knowledge
• Deep knowledge and passion for their subject matter
• Strong work ethic
• Excellent behavior and management skills
• Making students creative and think solutions of problem from different prospective.
• Creativity
